The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
